Vision Statement
To provide an accessible multipurpose facility close to the main church building which will provide opportunities for the teaching of God’s word, and fellowship, for various age groups within the congregation. It is anticipated that the space will allow for new initiatives and further opportunities to welcome and engage with the wider community; with the prayerful desire for lives to be changed as the good news of Jesus is made known.
July 2025
Site cleared by members of Churchtown in preparation for the contractor beginning the build.
August 2025
Contractor William Davison LTD, begins the digging of the foundations.

September 2025
Steel work is made and erected.

October 2025
Footings built and filled in ready for floors to be laid.
November 2025
Concrete slabs laid on main hall and concrete poured in other areas.
December 2025
Blockwork has started and scaffolding erected.
January 2026
Blockwork ongoing and steelwork for entrance area erected.
February 2026
Scaffolding erected and work begun on roofing.
March 2026
Work on roof continued.
April 2026
Work continues with main roof completed, windows installed and tracking done for 1st fix. Outside work continued with site being leveled and walls built.
May 2026
Work inside the hall progresses with first fix electrical and plumbing well underway.
June 2026
Work inside the hall progresses with first fix almost completed. Flat roof on the welcome area completed along with the installation of the front doors and glazing. Grounds levels completed in carpark.

July 2026
Plastering of the exterior walls completed.
Finishing of first fix and installation of plasterboard continues inside.
Plastering and finishing completed in welcome area, toilets, kitchen and store.
Outside retaining wall built, copings added and infilled.
August 2026
Plastering of the interior walls completed.
Painting of exterior walls, facias completed and down pipes added.
Plumbing pipework in place and radiators installed.
Electrical work continued and preparations for acoustic ceiling underway.
Retaining wall fully built with copings added.

September 2026
Final coat of paint on exterior walls and internal walls undercoated.
Acoustic ceiling installed in main and minor halls.
Ceiling painted in main hall.
All radiators in place and boiler installed for heating.
More fill added to carpark and to walkways around hall.
